Perhaps the most perplexing classification, Phi Vices do not survive past their advent Branch. Their sudden advents can be jarring, but are nowhere near threatening. The Branch Domain blueprint tends to be disjointed and incomprehensible, many remarking that it has uncanny similarities to neural net images. Phi exhibitions are incredibly nonthreatening, often taking the form of prey animals such as deer, goats, or rabbits. There is often something offputting about their exhibitions as well, which seem normal at first, but have uncanny features, such as eyes that seem to belong to a different animal.

Upon entry to the Branch Domain, the Host will be placed in front of the exhibition. It may twitch, scamper around, or fall over, but it will never attack or even acknowledge the Host’s presence. Many claim the exhibition’s movements mimic those of a sick animal, like a deer with prion disease. While one may be able to use objects from around the Branch Domain to rescind the Vice, if enough time passes, the Vice core will peter out, rescinding itself. The Branch will be terminated, and the Host will be cleared.

Hosts with Phi Vices should stay vigilant, as the chances of reigniting with a different classification are fairly high. The presence of a Phi Vice confirms that the Host has the necessary conditions to become infected. Roughly 60% of Hosts with Phi Vices have another advent that results in a new classification of Vice within the next three years. Fifteen percent reignite with another Phi Vice, raising their 60% chance of reignition to 75%.

While rescission wlil be achieved during the advent Branch, we still recommend seeing a Vice Management Administrator for followups to monitor for possible reignition.
